On a 1956 Phaeton has anyone replaced the weatherstrip between the front and rear window.I tried Macs Auto but it doesn’t fit it pushes the front window out.Nobody has it for a 4dr phaeton .

I don’t have a Phaeton, (would love to have one), and I do not know exactly what the weather strip you have is made like, but is it possible to shave the flat side of the material you have to make it fit?

I tried shaving it but still does not work.It has to be like an ell shape . Fits in the channel on the quarter window and goes behind the front window when they are rolled up .

If you have any part of the old seal you could send it to restorationspecialties.com and the will send you free sample to try. They are located in PA.

Don’t have any of the old seal.A lot of 2 &4 door cars have the same type of seal . It’s just finding the right one.
