    what year donor car can i use to obtain a bolt in power steering setup for my 1955 monterey?  I have been told that 1954-1956 mercury will work but i am not sure it is a “bolt in”.  i am sure the 1955 will work but not sure of the other 2 years.  also will any other ford, lincoln, edsel work? thaks

    54-56 will bolt in, if you get all of the parts.  Ford used the same type system into the 80s, but it would take some modification of the tie rod among other things to fit it up.
