Does anyone have information on this car,a friend of mine had one and he asked me to see what I could find out about it from IMOA.The car had a fastback roof like Ford,s ,it was an  imitation convertible that had a blck canvas type paint and it also had a chrome piece over the rear of the back section of the roof like convertibles had. There were crossed checkered plags on the front fenders,25th aniversary in the center of the steering wheel and the original owners name was inscribed on the skifter cloumn.I think the body was painted in anniversary blue but we are not sure that was the proper name for th paint?

Please help if you can my e mail address is loafs@mountaincable.net

    Thanks Paul

All 1964 full sized Mercurys had the 25th Anniversary steering wheel centers. I believe the fenders flags and fastback roof would mean it’s a Marauder. There were three different trim levels that year. Monterey (lowest) Montclair and Park Lane (highest)

I think the color is Anniversary Silver….which does have  a bluish tint
