trans will not kick down into passing gear. is it electrical are is there something ealseit could be. other than that trans works fine. next, is there a newer model trans that will interchange for the 312 block? thanks for any help,i’m a new member to the imoa.

There is nothing electrtical there, other than the neutral safety switch. Have you been messing with the linkage adjustment, or has someone else done that? It takes very little change to really mess things up.

Thanks John, I found a custom shop and they are going to look at it after installing vintage ac.

John had P.C.C. adjust the trans and it woks like a brand new rebuild. Shifts and kicks down like it should now. Much more fun to drive now.
