Voltage Regulator Capacitor

I need a voltage regulator surge capacitor for my ’66 S-55. Ford no longer stocks them and either do the local parts stores. Anyone have a suggestion?

Saw this on EBAY, but not sure if the surge capacitor is included! Have you tried NAPA and asked for their Antique Auto Parts Div?

Are you talking about the constant voltage regulator for your instrument cluster or something else?

The surge capacitor is located at the external voltage regulator that controls the alternator. One lead that connects to the the battery connection and the body of the capacitor to ground via one of the mounting screws for the voltage regulator. Anyone have an idea for a source?
