    I’m needing a throttle cable for my 67 Park Lane convertible. Q code 428. Any ideas and does something from a Ford fit? I’ve looked on line and ordered one form eBay which supposed to fit. It didn’t. Mine is frayed and is sticking open.

    Bruce , it appears to be a somewhat specific cable that fits 390 and 428 Mercs . With some looking on ebay I found a NOS cable part # c75z-9a758-a . It says it is for a Thunderbird and full size Ford , so I think it would be correct for a Merc . The ebay item # is 391702529843 it has a buy it now price of $189.99 plus shipping . It also has pictures so you can check it out .
