Does anyone have experience with the fit of the premade (not generic) side window rattle kits sold for 1956 “Ford cars” 4 door sedans when a 1956 Mercury is the recipient vehicle? Sellers do not specifically list Mercury and advise they can not say as reproduce part is based on a Ford part number. Hollander Exchange manuals list the side windows as being the same glass. However I don’t know if differences exist in window and molding opening shapes. I wondered if anyone had tried them and did they fit?
As a follow up- turns out anti rattles for 1956 Ford 4 door sedans will fit 1956 Mercury 4 door sedans. Thanks to folks at Concours Parts and Accessories for agreeing to compare anti rattles and confirming fit.
