    The anodizer broke the trim piece that goes on the edge of the trunk for my 63  Meteor Please help–Ed Johnson 541-549-9905

    Ed & Kathy,

    If you happen to find one, it will likely be damaged, and in need of repair/refinish.  The damage to these trim pieces seems to be consistent with placement of a bumper jack that has slammed into it.  You might want to let all of us Meteor owners know who the anodizer was that broke yours, and if that business is willing to compensate for such damage.  At such time as I have the paint and body work done, I will be looking for someone to re-finish that strip on my car, and would want to avoid anyone who may cause damage to that extent.

    Ed,

    Check out eBay # 300527892387 – passenger side rear NOS trim piece.  I don’t remember if this is the side you were looking for, or if you said you found one.  It will probably go to a pretty high bid.  I think I paid around $85.00 for the NOS one I found some time ago.
