    I tried to get an extra distributor cap for my 1956 Mercury, but found all did not fit. They are all too small. I must have a larger replacement distributor. I would like to find the correct cap so I have the number off this larger distributor: 0311-12127. I can’t find any of this number anywhere! Any ideas???

    OK, I’m all set. It seems that I have a 1957 Ford Mercury distributor. That’s ok.
