1997 Mercury Cougar XR-7 30th Anniversary Edition. This a one-owner Cougar that has been meticulously maintained over its 176,000 miles. Recently replaced are the AC compressor and the ECM. The paint is the original paint in Dark Toreador Red and the interior is Praire Tan leather. The Cougar has been garage kept and covered its entire life. The car “grew up” in Southern California and now lives in Nebraska. It is rust free. It is powered by the 4.6L V-8. Everything on this car is completely stock and original. 1965 Mercury Parklane convertible parts. Almost a full set of external trim. Missing one corner piece for the trunk lip. All pieces are stainless steel except for the trunk lip molding, which is pot metal. A few small dents and scratches here and there that can easily be repaired. Pieces included are as follows: Wheel housing/lip trim; rocker panel moldings; lower front fender moldings; lower door moldings; lower front, rear quarter panel moldings; lower rear, rear quarter panel moldings; trunk lip molding, missing one corner; windshield moldings unique to convertible; side window door and quarter window moldings, unique to convertible; rear convertible boot trim/molding; gas door filler molding; some mounting screws. There are two parts that I need. The first is the outermost power steering seal located behind the vibration damper on the crankshaft. The part number is B8MY3B592A. The second parts are a set of sway bar bushings, chassis bushings, for the same car, part number B9MY5493A. In addition, if anyone else has a 1959 Colony Park wagon, I have reproduced the reverse light lenses. If anybody is in need of these parts, please give me a call. Contact Bill at (516) 328-3423.
