1949 FORD Model

Year: Stamped on dash panel (cowl) under the hood. Hopefully the same for Mercury

On 1949 cars had a metal tag riveted to the firewall on the

right (passenger side) side, very close to the right hood hinge. The serial

number was also

stamped into the right-front frame rail, just back of the

radiator support.
