Hi I have been trying to find the color code for the paint used on the 1960 Mercury Parklane 430 engine. The closest I have been able to find is a Bronze Gold Ditzler paint code DEE-45 that was used on some of the 1964 Fords. This color looks close but may be a little darker Gold than what is on my motors valve covers. If anyone has the paint code for the Parklanes Gold valve covers I would very much appreciate the help?

    Thanks  Dave

I asked a similar question about the engine color/code on my ’58 Mercury Monterey, 383 cubic inch engine (mine is orange/red color).  Some one replied that there were no engine color codes.  I was advised to match as best as possible from a body/paint shop.  Maybe someone will reply differently here that there are engine color codes?
