I have a 1958 Turnpike Cruiser with the 430 engine and Multi-Drive transmission. My push button panel is the one that contains the Performance and Cruising options. The car has almost 55,000 miles. I am beginning to feel signs of wear in the push button operation, with the Reverse button losing its crispness and the Park bar loosening up and not operating smoothly. Can any repair or maintenance be done to help with this or to prevent it from getting worse?
