My wife Cathy and I are looking forward to meeting and making new frinds in the Mercury family. Just added vintage air and a new tune up oil and trans fluil change and had trans adjusted so we are ready for the up coming spring and summer travel. Thank you for any info,

<p class="MsoNormal">I just acquired a very low miles 368 CID 290 HP engine from
a 1957 Turnpike Cruiser. Along with its original automatic transmission.
I got the motor with intentions of installing it in a Model A hot rod. I am
sure that the trans is good but a hot rod needs to be a 3 pedal car. Were
there any ford bell housings and flywheels to fit these? Is there
anything in particular you or anyone else can tell me that would help with my
search. I really would like to use a Borg Warner T5 5 speed or similar
trans that I can get from a bone yard to give me an overdrive.
This is all new territory to me as I usually tinker about with Chevy I6 and
small V8 engines. By the way I am a machinist and welder so anything that
works with a little massaging is doable for me.

Does anyone live near Decatur, Il? I promised a girl that I would drive her and her new husband away from the church in my 51. Well, my 51 has decided to be a 60 year old bitch and not do it. Between the newly rebuilt starter that won't start the car, and the radiator that has all of a sudden decided that it won't cool the engine, and a couple other problems that have cropped up since I started working on these problems, I have run out of time. If any of you would be able to bail me out on Saturday Oct 8, about 7 PM, please call me at 217-763-5691

Hi Members: I am looking for a complete wiring diagram for my car. I have some diagrams but they are not specifically for the 1954 Mercusy Sun Valley....Can you help me out? Jerry Robbins suggested that I contact some members and I have a list of Sun Valley owners that he provided me with and I will do that but he also suggested that I do the forum too. Thanks

I just acquired a nice 1958 Montclair convertible with the 430 engine. I have found 2 others listed, Ted Forbes in Canada and the Malburgers. Is anyone aware of any other 58 Montclair convertibles still running?
